Summer Art Camps 2026
June and July from 11am to 1pm

Creative summer art experiences for young artists exploring painting, sculpture, mixed media, collage, clay, drawing, wearable art, storytelling, installation, and collaborative artmaking in a contemporary gallery setting.
Students will engage with a wide variety of art materials while building confidence, creativity, friendships, and hands-on skills through imaginative projects and playful experimentation.
Classes incorporate inspiring artists from art history and contemporary art to help inform projects and introduce students to creative ideas, cultures, movements, and ways of making.
Projects may also include skill-based learning connected to:
Shading and drawing techniques
Perspective and composition
Measurement and construction
Color theory
Storytelling and creative writing
Nature and science-inspired studies
Collaborative problem solving
Our programs are designed to support creativity while also strengthening connections to history, social studies, science, math, measurement & engineering skills, and creative thinking.
Camp Schedule
Mondays–Thursdays
11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
The final portion of each session includes relaxed creative studio time for students to continue projects, experiment with materials, collaborate with peers, and finish artwork before pickup.
Small group setting with limited enrollment of approximately 8–12 students.

Young Artists Exhibition Celebration
At the end of the summer, families and friends are invited to a special exhibition celebration at The 109 Gallery featuring artwork created throughout the camps.
Instructor Information
Led by artists, educators, and community partners experienced in youth creative programming.
All instructors and staff pass background checks and maintain First Aid/CPR training.
