Join us for a creative, hands-on Print Party where we’ll be upcycling and rejuvenating our old favorites through the art of block printing. Taught by the whimsical and talented artist Caleigh Bird.

Pick what works for you: Flexible pricing, $15 1 garment, $30 2 garments, $40 3 garments.
You’ll bring up to three items of clothing (think jackets, tees, tote bags, or anything that could use a fresh spark) and use a collection of hand-carved printing blocks to transform them into something uniquely yours. No prior experience is needed - just a willingness to experiment and have fun!
We’ll walk through the basics of block printing, from ink application to placement techniques, so you can confidently create bold, patterned designs on fabric. You’ll have access to a variety of original carved stamps from the Forest & Fern collection featuring plants and animals of the Appalachias, along with guidance on how to make your prints permanently last. Each piece you leave with will be a wearable reflection of your own creativity.
This workshop is all about slowing down, getting a little messy, and rediscovering the pieces you already love. Come solo or bring a friend, and leave with restyled clothing, new skills, and a deeper appreciation for the art of handmade design.
Cotton, denim, linen, natural fibers, and tshirts have been shown to hold the ink the best, but you are welcome to experiment on any kind of fabric
Bring hangers for your clothes
Bring an apron or wear clothes that could get a little ink on them
Each garment may be printed on up to 5 times
This is a drop-in activity so show up anytime from 6 - 8:30 pm. You'll want about 30 - 45 mins to print
This is a BYOB event so grab a bottle of your fave drink and let's party!
Pre-registration is appreciated, but not required. Feel free to just show up any time during event hours :)
