Witness: Sound and Body
An Evening of Sound, Movement & Embodied Art
Thursday, November 5 | 6–8 PM
Sound begins at 6:30 PM
The 109 Gallery | Chickamauga, GA
On November 5, Sacred Bodies: Sanctuary transforms stillness into sound and movement.
At 6:30 PM, Surreina Gallegos Gerbman, founder and steward of Elaruna Sanctuary of Sound & Light, will open the space through an immersive sound performance centered on listening and presence.
Movement by Sarah Yvonne, choreographer and director of Ballet Esprit, will follow, unfolding in relationship to the sound, sculptural forms, and bodies gathered within the Gallery.
For one evening, Sanctuary becomes something encountered not only through sight, but through sound, movement, body, and shared presence.
